Collins Little Gem series – ‘Mushrooms’ is very handy to have while out for a walk and is very comprehensive despite its pocket size and costs less than a tenner.

Entangled Life – How fungi make our worlds, change our minds and shape our futures by Merlin Sheldrake is an ode to the fungi that call to pigs from beneath the earth, the fungi that connect trees in a network, the fungi that produce alcohol and enable us to make bread and have been doing way more than we ever thought without us ever realising. Well worth the €20 in my opinion.
