If you wish to know more about fungi, mushrooms, lichens and their world beneath and above your feet, I would highly recommend the movie ‘Fantastic Fungi’.

It is well worth the few bob to rent or buy, is hugely interesting and entertaining. It outlines all the latest research into mushrooms, how they live and, ultimately, how dependent we, as a race, are on fungi doing their stuff.

Even if you are not interested in their story, the photography is amazing especially the time-lapse scenes.
